What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced RAY-kee) is a Japanese healing technique that channels universal life energy to promote relaxation, balance, and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. 🌿

How does it work?

Reiki works by channeling universal life energy—often called ki, chi, or prana—through the practitioner’s hands to the recipient in order to restore balance and promote healing on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.

Is it safe for everyone?

Yes — Reiki is considered very safe. 🌿 It’s a gentle, non-invasive, energy-based practice that doesn’t involve pressure, manipulation, or the use of any substances. Because Reiki works through light touch or even no touch at all, there are no known harmful side effects.

What should I expect?

After a Reiki session, most people feel deeply relaxed, peaceful, and emotionally lighter. Some may notice less pain, clearer thinking, or better sleep. Occasionally, there’s a brief period of emotional release or tiredness as the body clears old energy — this is normal and usually followed by a stronger sense of balance and well-being within a day or two.

How long is a session?

A typical Reiki session lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour, allowing time for deep relaxation and energy balance. Many people benefit from multiple sessions to experience lasting results and continued healing progress.
